OUR NEXT EVENTS
NATIONAL BLADE WORKOUT
A training protocol that contains so many physiological dynamics, needs to be treated in a technical and detailed manner.
Thanks to our Bladerz coaches professionalism and academic expertise, we are able to organize technical workshops to plunge into the various components that concern our activities.
The topics usually broadened regard: STRENGHT, ENDURANCE, NUTRITION, COLD MANAGING, in addition to other more specific subjects relating to particular events, in collaboration with contingent specialized figures.
A certificate – recognized by C.S.E.N. - will be issued by us to each person, it is valid as formative credit for the next training courses held by our Club.
BLADE events: THE BLADES
Our events have a proper denomination, that is ‘THE BLADES’.
These are not races nor competitive events, but it is obvious that not everybody is able to accomplish them owing to the stiffness of the challenges.
The blades are always different, there are not resembling events. Every stage, on all occasions, not only offers new sceneries and challenges to overcome, but it is also structured on the peculiarities of the hosting territory; in this way it is possible to use the features or even the folklore. For us the respect of the environment is peremptory and who contravenes to these principles will be immediately expelled from any trial.
Each identification element of the Italian BLADE path is represented by manifold cold steels because, like any self-respecting blade and all unexpected and problematic situation, it scares and it is dangerous until you learn to use it constructively.
SPIRIT OF ENDURANCE SPEAR
Each blade is designed to be an independent experience and also an integral part of a formative process.
What does it means?
It means that you can appreciate the teachings and the physic/mental coaching given by Italian BLADE, just taking part in one event. It is obvious that completing the entire path means acquiring a proper and tangible transformation, and a new self-awareness.
As a matter of fact, the attendance to an event does not entail to have background skills already, in the previous events. Each blade is introduced to the member athletes weeks before the event, whom receive accurate guidelines about the equipment, contingent fundamentals to be learned and teamwork exercises with other members, all sapiently directed by the Bladerz. The complete path we have realized is make up of various stages, and it is known as “SPIRIT OF ENDURANCE SPEAR”.
MENTAL ENDURANCE TRIDENT
This haul passes trough always different challenges, developed with an increasing duration and technical difficulty. The stages are six: the first three are focused on the development of endurance and mental adaptation, from the shortest format of 6 hours (called KNIFE), via the 12-hours event (called DAGGER) and ending with the 24-hours event (called MACHETE).
This is the first part of the haul and it is named MENTAL ENDURANCE TRIDENT.
In this phase the focus is teach the participants (they acquire the ENDURERS nomination when they first take part to one of our activities) how to learn to work with people that they do not know, to be able to proactively operate with them also after being subjected to a continuative amount of stress.
The ENDURERS have to solve problems like the followings:
- Code deciphering;
- Use materials and stuff in an unconventional way to achieve an aim;
- Leadership ability recognition towards themselves and the others;
- Weak points recognition in a team;
- Failure management;
- Sacrifice weight;
- The management of the main phobias such as: obscurity, claustrophobia, dark, water, height.
Physical Endurance Trident
The second part of the haul is physically more exasperating, especially targeted at the development of endurance capability and physical survival.
The path begins with the 36-hours event (called KUKRI), via the 48-hours event (called KATANA) and ending with the hardest event, a challenge of unknown duration, that goes from a minimum of 48 hours to a maximum of 72 hours (called CLAYMORE).
The second part is denominated PHYSICAL ENDURANCE TRIDENT.
The ENDURERS will prepare body and mind to a higher level of tolerance through:
- Capability to move in hostile environments;
- Facing caloric restriction and sleep deprivation;
- Handling natural elements like cold and heat;
- Basic survival techniques acquisition;
- Mind and body management to avoid being overcome after long periods of difficulty;
- Physical and team resources management in the long term.
